Jan was suddenly there and not to miss. He captured almost everything and everybody. Took picures like there´s no tomorrow. Jan Sobottka realized, that, he who takes pictures of art, even artists, has to become a photo artist: in doing so he omitted, selected and focused.

Jan Sobottka war plötzlich da und hat fotografiert als ob morgen die Welt untergeht. Er ahnt, dass, wer Kunst fotografiert, selbst Künstler, ergo Fotokünstler werden muss: So hat er vieles weggelassen, ausgewählt, sich konzentriert.
